Reworking traditional Fair Isle through an experimental construction, thicker yarns are inlaid into spaces where stitches fall silent, creating contrast in texture and depth. Against a soft pink base, accents of colour emerge across the surface, while the reverse offers a softened reflection — an echoing network of interwoven lines.

Drawing on the gentle drift of heather and the sculptural sharpness of teasels, these pieces explore the relationship between movement and form. Inlaid thicker yarns dissolve into one another, creating a gradual shift in texture that reflects the layered beauty of Scotland’s natural landscape.

Reimagining the afterlife of material, this piece incorporates scrap yarn gathered throughout the making of the collection. Scrap yarn was felted and reintegrated into this piece through bold lines woven between teasel-inspired diamond forms.

In giving discarded material a renewed purpose, the piece reflects a process rooted in care, consideration, and sustainability.
